About Friday

OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for ADULT dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. Everyone LOVES Friday, right? So, of course, you are going to love me! K-9 Angels saved me and my six puppies! They took excellent care of me, and although I need to still gain a little weight, I am doing SO much better! I love my foster siblings--we get along great--I'm the new kid on the block so I go along well with the othe rs. I treasure toys and will carry them around with me. I use the doggy door and love the backyard AS LONG AS YOU are there! I don't want to be without my pack, my people, my family! Could that be you? I'm ALMOST potty trained. If you will just go outside with me every time, I won't have a problem. I just don't want to be without you so I forget to take care of business sometimes. Now, don't misunderstand, I am not underfoot. I just lay down in the same room you are in, and if you leave the room, I follow you. I follow you wherever you go. I like walks and don't have a problem meeting new dogs as long as they aren't aggressive to me. I only bark when I am playing with my foster siblings. I'm very happy watching TV with you and leaning on you and sleeping in bed with you. Once I am settled, I am done for the night. I am kennel trained (HINT: You can teach me anything with a treat!) I don't go in my kennel except when my people leave. Why? Because I want to be with you! If I'm not with you I will look very hard to find a way out. So, you may come home and find me sitting in the front yard waiting for you. I know, I know, that's not very safe for a gorgeous girl like me. I think that when I KNOW you are coming back and there are no more foster homes, and no more street life, I won't be afraid that I will never see you again. It's been a journey getting to the good life and I want to keep it! Seriously, I am just about perfect in every way. And, I'm only 2 years old so there is ALOT of life in me without all those horrible puppy habits like house training, and chewing, and worms! I'm THE BEST FRIDAY you're gonna have in a long time if you take me home. Please come meet me! Female Terrier mix that we estimate to be around 2 years old and 20lb PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
