I am looking to re-home a 13 year old female chow mix. She's a sweet old lady I inherited after my father in law passed away this weekend. Unfortunately I have other animals and have a job that makes me Ill suited towards owning a dog. She is a bit deaf but in good health otherwise (spayed and up to date on shots). She is smaller than most chows at only 35 pounds. She hasn't been around cats much (bit too curious with my territorial cats but wasn't aggressive to them) but grew up around dogs but tends to assert herself among other dogs from what I know (which may be good or bad depending on other dogs). Ideally from her behavior I feel like she would probably be best as a solo dog. Never shown aggression but only child she has been around was a well behaved 4 year old but there was never any issues. She's very relaxed overall and is not very high energy.
