EMMY DOB- 3/2013 FEMALE PIT MIX Meet sweet Emmy! Emmy is a survivor..an advocate for the breed..a brave soul. Emmy was rescued from horrible living conditions. Because she lived outside exposed to the weather, she acquired a terrible case of demodex mange, worms, and heartworms (which will be treated in full by our veterinarians very soon!) Emmy was overbred, likely causing the sway in her back. She is a petite, fiesty, little woman with a big personality. The day she was brought to our shelter, you could see the relief written all over her face! Which she proceeded to pass onto us with kisses!! She gets along well with male dogs at the shelter, we have not tested her with female dogs yet. She likes to be the dominant dog when playing! She loves kids, too. She doesn't seem to be interested in cats, but we aren't sure how she'd interact with them off leash. She loves to take walks and is very obedient. Emmy can't wait to experience what a dog's life is SUPPOSED to be like...you know, a couch, yard, kids to play with, car rides, someone to pet her and tell her she's a good girl. All the fun stuff! If you'd like to meet Emmy, COME ON! She's waiting :)
