About Plumeria

Hi! My name is Plumeria, but my foster family calls me Maizey, which I fancy and recognize when called. I am a smaller Walker Treeing Coonhound. The shelter I came from believes I am 3 years old, but my foster mom thinks I am between 1 and 2. I am new to living indoors and having a family treat me so well, so I will need a furever home that is willing to work with me and has patience. I currently have 3 brothers in my foster home who range from 20lbs to 115lbs, all of whom I do super well with. I also don't mind goats, chickens, or cats. I also live with 2 children and do well with. I would do best with an active family because I love the outdoors. I also enjoy playing in water! Plumeria walks well on a leash, but will need a bit of leash manners taught when walking. She is still needing some house training help, but will get the hang of it in time. Coonhounds are a super affectionate and loyal breed, but will take time and patience to train. They alao can be loud at times, but all hounds can be loud! She is doing well with crate training. Loves toys and bones.
