Meet Milty! Milty was sadly turned over to the shelter when his long-time owner was incarcertated. The shelter held Milty as long as possible, but without hearing from his owner, the shelter opted to offer him to OPH - and we're glad they did! Can't wait for the amazing life this BIG boy will have! At the shelter, he weighed in at 101lbs, but he is a little underweight. He is neutered, UTD on shots, and fostered in Linthicum Heights, MD. Some of Milty's fantastic qualities: *Perfect age - he is about 4 years old, your shoes are safe! *Crate trained - His foster will crate him at night and during the day. *Good House Manners - House trained, does not appear to chew on things he shouldn't, and just wants to be near you *Intelligent - Walks well on leash. Eager to learn more *Good with adults in the family - Loves his family the best, both big and little humans! *Loves the outdoors *LOVES to Love - he can always use a hug or a pet, making every day special. *Excited about car rides - Hops right in the car and gets comfy. *Ready to enter your family - he is up to date on all shots and neutered *Excellent Pup for a medium energy single, couple, or family - would love to play a little and snuggle lots *Loyal and Eager to Please - He bonds very quickly to his family and just wants to be near you *Dog tested - enjoys being around other dogs *Cat approved - Milty is curious about these furballs but only wants to smell before finding something else to do Operation Paws for Homes is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization devoted to the rescue, rehabilitation and placement of dogs from high kill shelters in the south.
