About Godfrey

We are only accepting application for Godfrey with homes that have physically fenced yards, no cats, and as an inside dog only. Meet Godfrey. This 1.5 year old, 82 pound Shepherd is sweet and goofy. He was an unclaimed stray, so we are unsure of his history. Godfrey can stand to use some basic training that he likely never received in his first home. Godfrey is sweet and very much a velcro dog that wants to be by your side. His only flaw is that he thinks he is the size of a small lap dog and is unaware of the real size of his big, teenager dog body. Godfrey learns quickly and is already doing better on leash and learning commands as quickly as you can teach him. He is eager to please and a quick learner. He does well with other dogs of any size. He loves to romp, play, and wrestle with dog friends. He has spent time in Doggy Daycare and has done well. He is quiet in the house, housebroken, and kennel trained. He would do fine with children who are large enough not to be bothered by possibly getting knocked over when he's clumsy. He is neutered, up to date on shots, microchipped, and heartworm negative.
