Hi! I'm Athena! I'm about 1 1/2 years old and weigh 13 lbs. I was originally a lost stray and a family tried to keep me. They were just too busy for me and brought me here. I was adopted out and was given an injection for heartworm treatment. Unfortunately the first shot has left my back end paralyzed, Sometimes dogs suffer neurological complications from the hearworm treatement. But I have a heart of gold and I have not given up. I have a little cart that I use to get around. If you adopt me, you can have the cart for me. I know this is a lot to consider, but I know there is someone out there who wants to take good care of me! I am a very quiet and loving little girl. Please come rescue me!
