We are having to rehome our 4 yr old chihuahua mix, Lukah. We got her from a neighbor when she was about 6 months old, and we don't think she was treated the best while she was there. Because of this she is not very fond of men and is very wary of strangers. When she does become comfortable, she will most likely become very attached to one person and will want to be with them as much as possible. She does amazing with kids, she has been around our 3 year old since he was born and our other 3 kids she has never shown any aggression towards them. She however does not get along with other dogs. She does pretty well with cats however if she's sleeping or being pet, she doesn't appreciate having the cats come around. As long as your cats aren't dominate they should be fine with her. We are having to rehome her because we have a larger dog who she does not get along with. She'd do best in a household where there's almost always somebody home.
