About Sam

Sam arrived here with two other black lab mixes. Sam is a short and stocky 65 lbs. Sam has a unique white left eye, but it only adds to his handsomeness. Sam is very shy and is going to need a family that is willing to give him a chance to warm up to them. He is a VERY loyal dog and will get attached to the family he is with, it is just going to take him some time. Sam is approximately 4 years old. He is a very loving black lab mix. Crate trained, house trained and walks great on a leash. Sam gets along great with all of the dogs in his foster home, which vary in size. Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping. We need foster homes - pounds are overflowing with puppies and adult dogs that are at-risk and need help. We can only rescue as many as we have foster home commitments.
