Stripey is a sweet, shy adult cat. She is in good health and would make a great pet for the right home. She is very timid and does not like lots of noise or chaos. She likes people and loves to be petted - especially on her back - but she doesn't like other cats in the house and she hides whenever there are other dogs in the house. She tends to have a favorite human and it can be a child but the child has to be gentle. Our issue with her is that she is not good at the litter box. She poops on papers that we put to the side of the box. That's not a big problem because it's just as easy to throw out papers as it it so scoop. The bigger issue is that she has peed on our carpet. She has a favorite spot where she pees (near an alcove) and limits her peeing to that area. We had the soiled carpet removed for over a year and she used the box during that time. We thought that she had retrained and had the carpet reinstalled but unfortunately she is peeing on the carpet in that same spot again. Stripey would make a good pet for someone with a quiet home ideally without carpet. She might not pee on your carpets but we can't guarantee that.
