About Maxwas

Our rescue Max. My family and I went looking at the shelter for a new family member and although we didn't find what we needed we found Max. His family surrendered him and he was on his last days at the shelter and we couldn't leave him behind. Unfortunately he doesn't fit our needs but he is an amazing dog. He is the biggest lovebug you'll ever meet. He will definitely be someone's best friend. He loves to follow his owners around and spend much time with them therefore we would like for him to be in a home with plenty of space but much attention. He loves to lay on your lap and loves his belly rubs. He is a year and a half years old, he is neutered, he has a microchip which we do have paperwork for, and overall he's a sweetheart. However, he does show signs of aggression towards other animals if left alone. He has no history of being aggressive towards humans or small children at all and as far as we can tell he is completely safe with humans. No food aggression either at all, he eats right out of your hand then gives you kisses. His paperwork says he is a lab mix but we're not sure what else he is mixed with. He's a really good dog and if we felt comfortable leaving him with our goats we would keep him in a heartbeat. We are really looking for him to find his perfect home with someone that will love him and give him all the attention and love he deserves. He's very well behaved and listens extremely well, he just is energetic and needs someone to hug and play with. Any sort of help or possible adoptions would be appreciated. Thank you.
