My Story PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL US WITHOUT FILLING OUT AN APPLICATION. ***Adoption application at www.aberdeenstr.com*** IF WE DO NOT RECEIVE AN APPLICATION, WE WILL NOT RESPOND TO YOUR EMAIL. Prince male Maltese 8 months old 6.6 lbs Another extremely sad tail of Prince the adorable little Maltese man who needed out of the dreaded kill shelter in Korea & his time had run out, if the Korean rescue did not go & get him out he was going to be euthanized, how this could ever happen we will never ever understand then to a puppy is heartbreaking. Prince is a male 8 month old puppy who weighs 6.6 lbs is neutered, up to date on his shots, heart worm negative, chipped, dewormed twice. Prince is outgoing, affectionate and very vocal. He's extremely food motivated & that helps with teaching Prince in his foster home, he was clearly someone's beloved dog in Korea & very spoilt. He does well with dogs who are not to much in his business & doesn't mind the cat in his foster home at all. He would do well being an only dog or with other dogs present in the home or being a family's everything as he really does enjoy the attention. Prince will need work on potty training like all of his rescue friends & puppy training. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Prince & going through the process and have read his listing fully to the end & are interested in adopting. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview, and a home visit followed by a meet and greet & if it's a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Prince that meet all the requirements. Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Prince has an adoption fee of $750 & is ready for his forever family. Like most dogs in our rescue, Prince will need work on potty training. __________________________ **IMPORTANT DETAILS - PLEASE READ** An application must be filled out before consideration for adoption. Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to commit a lifetime to him/her. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit group of animal lovers. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to pay our current medical bills for our dogs as well as any future dogs we rescue as well. As an adopter, you must be prepared to accept the fact that these dogs are rescues and, just like you and I, they all have their own individual personalities. In most cases, these little ones have been through a difficult journey that started when their family gave them up or they became lost. They may have been under stress, neglected or even abused in their past life or frightened by being left alone on the streets to fend for themselves. When submitting an application, Please be 100% certain that you are committed to completing the adoption process. This includes having all household members in agreement of the dog adoption and being prepared to complete the adoption once approved. We are committed to placing each dog in the very best home possible. As an all volunteer rescue we spend several hours vetting and approving each applicant and every minute spent working on applicants that are not prepared to complete the adoption takes us away from saving another dogs life. This truly is a life and death matter for these precious souls. Thank you for your understanding. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to come look at a dog We will contact you once we have received and reviewed your completed application. A Home visit as well as a reference check MUST be completed before a meet & greet can be scheduled. Thank you for your patience and cooperation. Adoption Process All of our dogs are in foster homes, so please fill out an application on our website to meet them in person: www.aberdeenstr.com. Aberdeen Scottish Terrier Rescue is a 501(c)3 recognized charity. Our volunteers dedicate all their free hours to finding the best loving home for each of our dogs.
