History- This sweet girl was just another stray roaming in a bad part of a rural town. She was picked up by animal control and taken to their facility. She was dirty, underweight, and had a bad case of fleas. The shelter held her for the required length of time and then put her up for adoption. She was adopted quickly because she is so cute and sweet but then returned the next day for an unknown reason. They put a plea out to rescues as they were full and were going to start having to euthanize for space. We had just had some adoptions so went in and had some dogs transferred to us. We brought her in and noticed the fleas and set her up in an isolated area while the flea medication worked. Then she broke with a bad case of kennel cough and stopped eating. She is now finally going to go for her medical and then will start looking for her happily ever after.. She looks older but her teeth are pearly white- we believe it is due to stress, malnutrition, and a hard life but with good nutrition and such she is starting to look a lot better. Temperament- She is very sweet and loving. Loves to burrow in blankets and will dance on her hind legs for attention. Energy Level- Very mellow. Loves to just cuddle with us on the couch under a blanket watching tv. Dogs/Cats- Good with other dogs. Good with cats. Housetrained- She is house trained. she is using a dog door most of the time and when she doesn't have access we just put her out every few hours and she does great. This little girl is so cute.. We don't know why her family didn't care enough to keep her safe or even go to the shelter to bail her out. But we are glad she is with us now. She is an amazingly sweet little girl with a heart of gold. She will make a wonderful addition to any family wanting a cute little baby to share their home with. Adoption fee $150 includes spay, age appropriate vaccinations (4 for puppies), deworming, microchip, rabies vacc, collar and tags, training information, and all the support you need.
