About Rosemary

I met Rosemary when I went out to help with a situation of over a dozen of dogs on a property out on the reservation. The woman that owned the property said most of the dogs were nearly feral & under socialized. Originally, the plan was to only take any dogs that were not altered so that we could at least slow down reproduction on the property. While all the other dogs ran from us & would not allow us to touch them- there was Rosemary- who followed me around & laid by my car almost as if she was saying 'let me know when its time to go.' I did not plan to take her because she was already spayed & I knew she wouldn't be contributing to the problem. After 6 long hours of trapping other dogs- there was Rosemary- covered in dirt- having lived in outside dog her whole life. I could not leave her behind. With no room in our car she rode on my lap the whole 4 hour drive back home :) She is a fantastic dog. She is about 5 years old although her teeth are perfect! She prefers people but is fine with calm mellow dogs that let her have her space (puppy energy would annoy her). At first she had no idea what to do in a crate or how to walk on a leash but with the help of our dog trainer she has come such a long way in just a couple weeks. She loves now being an indoor dog & she will be an amazing companion for most families out there looking for a laid back chick :) Her adoption fee is $160. Let us know if you're interested! :)
