About Max

Max - A 5 Year Old German Shepherd Sedona Shepherd is teaming up with Denville Animal Control to help find a home for this stunningly handsome and active German Shepherd. Max has the classic look and size of a large full bred German Shepherd. People stop and admire this good looking boy. It has been a tough year for Max, his owner recently lost his home and his dad, Tucker, recently passed away unexpectedly. So Max is a bit down in the dumps and looking for some love and stability. Since surrendered to the shelter, Max has been getting training every day and meeting all the folks at the Denville municipal center. Max is a strong dog and is in need of an owner that can comfortably handle a 100 pound dog. We are looking for someone who understands the needs of German Shepherds and has had the breed or other large breed dogs in the past. Although he has lived with another dog all his life, Max can be intimidating to other dogs, and probably would be best in a home without another dog, or in a home with a dog that is confident and used to being around large dogs. We are looking for either a foster or adopter for Max. For more information about Max, you may contact the Denville Animal Shelter. However, all applications will be going through Sedona Shepherd. We will be requiring that any adopter agree to take Max to training. �%A0Canine Dimensions, will provide two free in home dog training sessions for any adopter who lives in New Jersey and is north or west of (and including in) Middlesex County.
