About Chloe

UPDATE 5/29/18: Ms. Chloe has put on weight with her foster and is 6 lbs. as of today. She got spayed today and is now ready for her forever home. She has done amazing with her foster and isn't that terrified little thing that came in. She did OK with the foster's adult son if he just ignored her and she eventually became curious and checked him out. The foster home says she has gotten her about 85% housebroken but you have to be diligent about taking her out. She hates being in a crate and cries. She insists on sleeping under the covers with her human. She got along great with the other dogs in the foster home. This terrified little girl is Chloe. She was surrendered for a couple of reasons. She apparently did not like the man in the house and would bite him and she was the source of too much stress since she is not yet housebroken and the family is expecting a child and just did not have the time to work with her to housebreak her. She is about 7 months old and is probably under 3 lbs. She is purported to be a Schnauzer/Chihuahua mix and she looks extremely malnourished. We are guessing that our vet will not agree to spay her until she puts on some much needed weight. She is adorable and right now is pretty scared with all of the noise at the shelter. She is reported to get along fine with other dogs. She likes to cuddle and Denise has spent her share of time this afternoon loving her up. We will consider a foster to adopt on her until she is healthy enough to get spayed.
