About Kristoff

Kristoff is available for foster or adoption. We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families! Kristoff is currently fostered in Tampa, FL (Hillsborough County). Kristoff is a sweet 1.5-year-old boy who has been in foster care his whole life. He and his five brothers and sisters were born in foster care on June 25, 2017. One of his littermates was recently DNA tested, and Kristoff is mostly Australian cattle dog and mountain cur, with some border collie, American Bulldog and boxer in the mix as well! Kristoff is a pretty well-adjusted dog, who at 50 lbs wants to be a lap dog. He's been learning 'go lie down' so that he will lie on a dog bed instead of trying to be on someone's lap. Kristoff gets along great with other dogs and knows how to sit for treats and petting. Sometimes he gets excited and jumps up on people still, but he remembers pretty quickly that he's supposed to sit instead of jumping up. He's very sweet, but he does get excited and jump on people sometimes, so he may be too much for younger children or children who have not been around big, energetic dogs. He does not like riding in the car, which will improve with time and exposure. He is friendly toward all and just waiting for a family to come scoop him up! Kristoff is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and preventives, microchipped and heartworm-free. He is housebroken and crate trained as well.
