About Ruby

Ruby is an amazing girl and we don't want to get rid of her! Unfortunately, we did not know much about a Catahoula/Cur when we got her, so we were unaware that she would fair much better in a huge yard or on a farm where she can run. She is a working dog. She would make an excellent hunting dog! She knows all of her commands and will follow them, as long as she knows you are the dominate one. If you are not dominate and do not reinforce the commands, she will take over and run amok! This is a common trait of the Catahoula breed. That being said, if you are looking for a very lovable dog that loves car rides and being active, Ruby would be a great addition to your life!
