About Sally

Do you have a dog on your Bitmoji tee? Wait, you love 'This is Us' too?! Well then, let's talk!! You see, I am interviewing for a forever family. I mean, don't get me wrong. These foster folks are real nice, but I am facing some serious issues here. First and foremost, I am sharing the love with other dogs. And, while I like them fine that means there are times I am (shudder) LAPLESS! COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! I have just a few teensy requirements including endless love, abundant toys and a fenced-in yard. You see, I became lost in my last life chapter, and when I find my home, I intend to stay put for GOOD!! Sally was unclaimed from a rural shelter in southern MS. Vets approximate her age in the 4-5 year old range. She is a lovely black and tan dapple (12 lbs) and she is full of typical Dachshund spirit. She is always up for a romp in the yard, or, equally content reading with you on the sofa snuggled in a blanket. She gets along well with the 3 foster dogs of various sizes in her foster home and would love a canine sibling. She is housetrained in her foster home, but her foster mom is home most of the day. Like any small dog, she would need to go out every 4-6 hours. We do not have any history on Sally's compatibility with small children or cats. NOTE: Sally is being fostered in MADISON, MISSISSIPPI.
