About Sadie

This beautiful girl is Sadie, a 2 year old Chiweenie (Chihuahua/Dachshund mix) who weighs about 15 pounds. Her foster mom has been cutting down on her food intake so that she can lose a few pounds. She came into our rescue about a year ago and found a nice family and was happy for the past year, but unfortunately, they had to surrender her back to us since they were moving to an apartment and could not keep her. She is heartworm negative, housebroken (uses a doggie door) and microchipped. Sadie likes to sleep in bed with her foster mom. She's a very sweet dog with good manners. She gets along well with both dogs and cats. While she has not been tested with children we think she would be fine based on her sweet disposition. Sadie was confused and sad when she came back into our rescue as she was missing her family, but her confidence has been building back up.
