About Cookie

we have a almost 3 year old blue healer. she is very high energy, gets along with a pitt mix about the same age. she ahs had rabies shot and parvo shot. she loves kids but with ehr energy knocks over smaller children, however she does like to play with the neighbors kids. she jumps our 4 foot fence, and does not get along with our 13 yr old doberman so we have to let dogs out in shifts. she would do well with younger people ( we are in our 50's) she was found at 36th and penn in okc, and after a relative looked for the owner she was given to us because we lived on 5 acres. this dog loves to run and requires more attention then we can give her. she is an awesome mouser. not sure how she would do with farm animals, we do not ahve kids so she is stuck in a crate for most of the day, becasue she does not get along with the doberman and with the pitt mix we have and energy level we allow each dog out alone, with supervision. she is house trained, comes with crate and food bowl, and can give you a collar. she walks well on a leash and i can even hold her with my weak arm ( had shoulder surgery 8 months ago) We do not want her to go to the pound and would like to keep in contact ( by email or text) with the new owner. We would keep her if she was the only dog however with 2 others are not able to keep her. We have had her for almost a year hoping she would settle down, but that has not happened and i believe the time she has to spend in the crate is the issue. she has not been around cats, or farm animals. she is smart but takes a few to get her to calm down to hear the commands. she is about 40 pounds, so not too big, she is looking for someone to play with
