About Maggie

Maggie has been my best friend when I needed one. I've had her since she was 8 weeks old and I LOVE her so so so much. But my situation has changed and can no longer keep up with her VERY active lifestyle. She would play fetch and / or swim ALL DAY if I had the time. She catches balls in the air. She knows 'sit' and 'speak', but has a hard time with 'stay' or 'leave it'. She is extremely toy-motivated, even more so than food motivated. She loves balls and stuffed toys, but also doesn't yet know how to differentiate between her toys and other things. I do NOT want her to go into a shelter as I couldn't bear the stress, fear, confusion and hurt that I know she would feel. She has lived for over a year with 2 kids (between 5 and 12 years old) and another dog (8 weeks old to a year old). She has at times been jealous when I've showed attention to the other dog. Mostly, she is very sweet and so adorable it makes my heart hurt. She needs a place where she can get lots of attention, who will work with her and give her the best life.
