Email her at : [email protected] Honey is a spayed female dog, about 3 years old. She came from a slaughterhouse in Asia where after having been beaten and hung, she was rescued by Marc Ching. He brought her back to Los Angeles about 1 1/2 years ago. She was completely traumatized. She wouldn't eat and couldn't tolerate being touched. She lived with a foster for about 5 months but wasn't making the progress she needed to make. She needed a professional to rehabilitate her. Honey has lived with Gina, an incredible dog trainer and animal rehabilitator for over a year. It's taken that long for her nervous system to calm down and for her to trust. Only now is she ready to go to her forever home. She is housebroken, crate trained, comes when you call her, loves to retrieve, jumps easily in the car, and loves to play with other dogs. She's a great watch dog and is incredibly easy to live with. She sleeps in her crate or on Gina's bed. Honey needs a quiet home with little traffic. She would love to live with another dog or two. She is still scared of strangers but will now stay in the same room with them. She is happiest at home. She definitely needs an enclosed yard where she can run and play. Honey weighs about 40 pounds. She is spayed, microchipped and current on shots.
