About Benji

Note: Benji ia a Terrier mix, not a Silky Terrier. Rescueme doesn't have Terrier as an available breed! Benji 1 is a 3 year old terrier mix weighing 6 pounds. This happy, playful little guy had to have his front leg amputated because his previous owners did not get him medical care when he injured it. Now that he is out of pain, he acts like a puppy! You would never even know that he only has 3 legs. He runs faster than we can, he even jumps. He loves toys but he did eat a toy which got lodged in his large intestine so he can only have indestructible toys. He gets along with other dogs, tolerates cats and loves people. He is a lap dog and a cuddler. All he needs is his forever home so please don't let the fact that he only has 3 legs deter you from adopting him. It definitely does not deter him in any way!
