About Mowgli

Mowgli is a very affectionate, high energy and very smart Jack Russell Terrier Mix. Mowgli is approximately 5-6 years old and is truly one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. He loves loves loves hugs/affection. He has really become a true member of our family and an amazing sibling to our terrier mix but unfortunately Mowgli does need more time/attention given to him than me or my partner can provide. We rescued Mowgli and with his past he does have some separation anxiety. We both work full time jobs and Mowgli is in need of a home where someone is home majority of the day, a home with a yard maybe for him to run around and get his energy out. He loves walks, he walks very well on the leash. He gets along with any human- kids and adults. He loves to give hugs, and just wants to be loved 24/7! He is nervous at first when meeting other dogs but once familiar does really well with others. He knows the command sit and he is also potty trained! He does sleep inside with us and is mainly an inside dog but does sure love to sun bathe out on our small patio! Medically all is well with Mowgli, he is a healthy boy aside from a minor heart murmur and environmental allergies for which we provide a allergy shot to him with our vet every 3 months. It is inexpensive and prevents him from itching and chewing his paws. (CADI Injection). We are so saddened that we cannot provide him the home that we know he deserves and we really love him dearly, this decision has not been easy and we truly do want to make sure that we absolutely know we are placing him in a home where he will be loved unconditionally and taken care of and become one of the family.
