About Roscoe

This beautiful boy has the heart of an angel!�%A0Roscoe was rescued from a terrible hoarding situation in SC (think mounds of feces covering the home, including the food). He is a 1 year old, 50 lb Lab/Rottie mix with an incredibly gentle and calm disposition. His �%A0foster mom says, 'Some people may look at Roscoe and think he's a mean dog, but the truth is, there isn't even an ounce of aggression (food or otherwise!) in this dog! He is just a big sweet puppy at heart who loves to snuggle. He REALLY loves kids, even the little ones, and he is always gentle and calm. (He sleeps in bed every night with our son, as well as our two other 2 dogs). He's still a bit puppy-ish, so he enjoys chewing things, but as long as he has something to play with or a tasty bone to chew, he's fine. He gets along with ALL other animals perfectly - including cats, small dogs, and even little puppies. I have six 10 week old pups, and he wants to protect them. He also is extremely smart and learns new things in a flash!' When someone is home, he happily lounges on his bed or the floor by the people. He does get anxious when left alone in the house, so �%A0he would definitely do best in a home where someone is around during the day, and he'd thrive in a home with another dog for company. The crate is still scary for him, so he needs a family with patience and love who will help him if they want him to be crated.�%A0He is vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered, and his adoption fee is $425.
