About Agnes

This sweet girl is Agnes, a 7 year old Chiweenie (Chihuahua/Dachshund mix) who weighs about 10 pounds. Sadly, Agnes has not had an easy life before she came to our rescue. She was an owner surrender and had been neglected and the vet thinks that she was kicked in the mouth and never taken for the medical care that she needed. Because of that her jaw is a bit off center, but thankfully it does not affect her eating or drinking. We've assured this beautiful girl that she will never again experience life the way she knew it. Regardless of her past, Agnes gets along with everyone, dogs, children, and even cats. Agnes is heartworm negative, housebroken and microchipped. She was with another rescue that had larger dogs and she was afraid of them. So she would not want to share her home with large dogs. Agnes is very lovable and will give you lots of kisses. She is a happy girl who has started to play a little. Agnes is a total lapdog and wants to be wherever her foster mom is. She realizes how wonderful it is to feel loved and treated like she deserves. She sleeps right next to her foster mom in bed every night. We are in search of a family that will love and cherish Agnes and make up for all of those years that she didn't feel loved. She's got a lot of life ahead of her and we are determined it will be wonderful life.
