About Freckles

Freckles is a 6 month old dachshund-corgi-heeler (?) pup! This sweet boy weighs about 15 pounds currently and will likely finish out between 18-20. He is long and low and absolutely adorable! He was taken to the vet as his family did not want him and they asked that he be put to sleep - fortunately the vet knew better and called our rescue! He is very smart and learns quickly! He absolutely LOVES to give kisses and snuggle right up next to you. He loves playing with other dogs too, but can sometimes bark at new people or dogs just to show them he is a big man! He can be a little clingy and want to be wherever you are - but will enjoy having a family to keep him company. He is still a little mouthy when he plays so we recommend no very young children. He is crate trained but would absolutely be in heaven if he could sleep in the big bed with someone. He has made the long trip from Texas to Massachusetts and is looking for his forever home here - could it be yours? Adoption fee is $475, which includes spay/neuter, microchip, USDA transport, vaccines, health certificate and Massachusetts mandatory animal quarantine.
