About Khara aka Holly

Massachusetts Holly is a two-and-a-half-year-old fawn Great Dane who is spayed and current on her vaccines. She has been gaining weight but needs to gain a few more pounds. She's a sweet lovable goober who loves her people but would do best as an only dog as she tends to be dominant and should be placed with older children only as she really is oblivious to her humongous size. She loves to run like a gazelle outside but it has not really learned how to put her brakes on. She is still learning house manners as she was primarily an outdoor dog before. She's fairly well-behaved she just gets into things if left unattended. she's completely potty-trained. She is learning some commands and she's very eager to learn them . She is very treat motivated. She is reluctant to go into her crate or a room where she will be alone so she currently needs to be bribed to do either of those things but she will usually cooperate. She's been learning paw control as she likes to throw some mean left hooks. She has not adjusted to walking on a leash yet but she loves the idea of it so I'm sure she'll get that very quickly. Some nice long walks will do this girl a world of good
