About Lyla

Adoption Fee: $295
Catahoula mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Meet Lyla! 40 lbs Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix Approx. 2 yrs old Lyla is a very sweet and affectionate dog. She is one of the most loyal dogs you will meet. Lyla gives hugs and would appreciate a family that is around often or is willing to take her on adventures. She stays by your side, and is a huge cuddle-bug. Lyla does well with other dogs, is good with kids, and doesn't mind cats. She is house broken, crate trained, and enjoys a good nap after a romp in the yard! Lyla favors the outdoors and to enjoys sunbathing or helping in the garden. She can be as active as you want her to be, meaning she can run around for a few hours but easily loves to nap for just as long. Lyla is a very trusting and loving dog, and follows you everywhere. Her only bad habit is that she occasionally gets bored and shreads a towel or a sock. With appropriate chew toys and play stimulation, she will behave herself!! Lyla would do best in a home with another dog so she can get attention. If she is the only dog, she will just be extra cuddly and will follow you whever you will go. Lyla is a very easy going, happy pup and loves people. Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping. We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Please email [email protected] for an application or additional details. Please note that the breeds and sizes posted in this biography are educated best guesses and are not guaranteed. Please consider becoming a foster home while you search for your new best friend.
