He is very full of energy but he really wants to be a good boy and does very well unless he gets excited and then he can forget his manners a little. He would do best with a family that is active. He is potty trained, crate trained and eager to please. Denver is a bit of an escape artist, and if he gets out - he will run, so always on a leash or secured with a fenced back yard is important. Denver gets along great with his two smaller female foster siblings, but recently met a male dog that he didn't like at all. We're not sure if it's male dogs in general that he doesn't like or the fact that the other dog was bigger than he is. Any families with other dogs will have to plan on a meet and greet, for sure.
