About Philo

Meet Philo! The most loving, loyal, cuddle filled dog you'll come across. Philo was just a couple of months old when we rescued him from the Austin Animal Center in 2015. His warm, curious, innocent stare really won us over and so we adopted him. Throughout the years, Philo has always been a sweet companion to have, but his past makes him a special kind of pup. He has mild separation anxiety which makes him want to have a pal around at all times whether it be a four legged friend or one of his humans. When he gets excited he definitely shows it! He is full of energy but knows when it's time to calm down. Even though he needs someone around all the time, he loves to give love and he loves to be the center of attention while still sharing the love! He is a great dog, and I wish we could take him with us on our first big move but he did not pass the criteria for the breed restrictions set due to his mix, but I know that with lots of publicity he will find the PERFECT home.
