Honey with Thao at Lucky Ones Ranch This sweet girl is appropriately named Honey. She was labeled as aggressive in the shelter, but we all know dogs show us who they truly are when they are safe. Now in foster, this 10 year old Cattledog girl has told us she just wants to take it slow, get to know and trust you. Then, she appreciates plenty of attention. Honey is a good girl. She gets along with other dogs and cats. She is potty trained. She is an easy keeper. She does prefer that new folks give her space to warm up before she turns on the Honey charm. She also asks that you take it slow around her collar. Someone must have jerked her around by the collar at one time, so she can be nervous. Honey is ideal for someone who wants all of the devotion and smarts of a Cattledog but doesn't want a dog they have to wear out daily. Honey loves to take walks and go on car rides. She likes to hang out with her person. She is a gem for the right home. We will not place Honey with young kids. She says she is just not that into the activity that comes with toddlers. Honey is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. We do not ship our dogs. She is available for a meeting and adoption in the San Francisco Bay Area (Vacaville). A home visit and vet reference are required.
