About Kimba

UPDATE: I am becoming desperate and will need to surrender him to the Fairfax County shelter soon. This is Kimba, our 9 year old Dachshund. Due to a number of conditions, we are searching for new home for him. Though he has never been an 'obedient' dog, his temperament has taken a turn for the worse, after our live-in grandson was born. He is extremely jealous of him, and recently attacked him on several occasions. We cannot have this continue. We have tolerated his aggressiveness towards strangers at the house and towards other dogs, by adjusting our lifestyles and mitigating the planned visits of new people to the house. We also stopped taking him to the dog park and on walks around the block, due to his aggression to passers by and other nearby dogs. However, with the most recent aggression towards our grandson, we reached our limit. If you are looking for a cuddle dog, he's your dog!
