About LOVING FOSTER NEEDED

DOES ANYBODY OUT THERE JUST WANT TO CUDDLE? Callie is a darling, 4yr old, 50ish lb girl that has had a very rough year. This darling was a stray... about a year ago. Then she found herself in a very dirty, abusive shelter. Although she came into this shelter a happy, loving, trusting girl, the neglect and abuse has now caused her to be somewhat mistrusting, and terribly fearful of brooms and long, similar looking 'weapons'. (This is how she sees them). A few months ago, she was rescued from this terrible place, spent a couple more months in a boarding facility that helped her learn to play and begin to trust again. In her new facility, she is quickly learning even more how great it is to have affection... and LOTS of treats! Now she is ready and so yearns to be with a loving, kind person of her own. WE NEED A FOSTER HOME because soon Callie will have surgery to remove a cyst from her eyelid. Her vision is great... it's just a bothersome small cyst that needs to be removed. After her surgery and recovery, she will then be available for adoption. Since Callie's ordeal, she is now no longer able to have doggy playmates. And no kitties for Callie. Becasue she is still learning that humans can be loving, kind and gentle, an experienced, adult only home is best. Callie must also have a 6ft, securely fenced backyard in which to run, play and roll in the grass. She is house trained and fully crate trained. She has had enough loneliness so we are looking for a stay at home or work from home person. During foster, all supplies will be provided.
