About Dixie

Hello there! My name is Dixie and I'm currently being fostered in Janesville, Wisconsin. I am a collie mix. Right now I weigh about 25 pounds and I'm doing pretty good with my potty training. As long as you take me out consistently I do my business outside no problem! I am crate trained, and love riding in the car, especially if you let me look out the window! I'm a pretty easygoing, sweet gal and get along great with other dogs and kids. My foster family has a cat, but I don't show much interest in him. My favorite things include belly rubs, running outside (I love the snow!), chewing on bones, and finding the squeakers in toys. I'm pretty calm for being only around four months old, and I love to snuggle up with humans on the couch. I love to eat as well, and sometimes eat too fast, but I don't get mad when my foster parents take my food to help me slow down. My adoption fee is $300 (with a separate $100 deposit check that is shredded with proof of completion of spay/neuter) that includes age appropriate vaccinations at the time of adoption, microchip and health certificate.
