About Dodger

Dodger is a sweet boy who came to KCHS a few months ago with a torn Achilles tendon. Our vet performed two surgeries attempting to repair this, and that was not successful. Consultation with orthopedic specialists determined that the leg would ever be useful and amputation would be necessary. He came through that surgery with flying colors and has healed up very well - he doesn't seem to have missed a beat ! He's neutered, has current vaccinations, and is microchipped. Adoption fee $ 150. Dodger finally got his stitches out on Friday April 20th so he's more than ready to find a new home. This is one super, duper laid back dude! He may just have 3 legs now, but he's all heart! He is a sweet and gentle giant (98 lbs before his surgery). He's an older dog, approx. 8 years of age, but he's housetrained, well mannered and an 'easy keeper'.
