About MUFFIN

SAY HELLO TO MUFFIN! Muffin is a stunning snowy white 8 year old Maltese /Poodle mix boy. Weighing in at 12 pounds, this little guy is the most perfect gentleman. Blind for several years now, Muffin came to us as a surrender. His owner had become ill and unfortunately has to know live in a Care Home which does not allow pets. No one in is owner's family wanted to take Muffin in .. which is so sad as they don't realize what they are missing and will surely now become someone's treasure! Muffin is the sweetest, easiest dog and adapted well here but was a bit overwhelmed by the number of dogs at the rescue so he went right into a foster family that was much more quiet with few other mates in the home. Muffin will need an experienced adopter as he will need supervision while learning the latout and routine of his new home and would like someone who is home most of the time. He would be great for an older person or couple that would enjoy his company and he would theirs! Muffin is both house and crate trained and will let you know he needs to go out. He is quite independent and not needy at all. He enjoys sitting with you on the couch while you read or watch television. Muffin rides very well in the car and enjoys hs walks on the leash. He does not pull, comes when you call him and is greets strangers warmly. Muffin enjoys good health and had a professional dental cleaning when he joined our Rescue family. Muffin is a non-shedding longer coated breed that will require regular brushing as well as professional grooming every 6 to 8 weeks. Muffin's adoption fee includes his Veterinarian Wellness checks while here at the rescue, his neuter, professional dental, all vaccinations including rabies and bordatella, de-worming, microchip with lifetime membership and professional groom.
