SAY HELLO TO TRIXIE! Trixie is an absolutely adorable 4 month old Cairn Terrier / Yorkie mix puppy girl. Weighing in at just 6 pounds, there's a whole lot of personality, energy and pizazz packed into that little body! Trixie is 6 lbs of everything you expect a terrier to be. She is sassy, bossy, feisty and adorable. She is only about 4 months old and smart as a whip but if you are not a terrier person, she is not for you! Trixie is very playful, likes most other dogs but is dominant and probably would do best with a playful passive male dog that is similar in both size and age. Trixie would thrive with a younger experienced dog family that can keep up with her energy. Trixie will gleefully test her foster every day as she is just so smart but is a very sweet girl as well. A family with older kids that understand and respect her small size would be a plus. No infants, toddlers or little kids under the age of 9 will be considered. The Trix came to us as a stray. We searched for her owners for quite some tome now, yet they never came forward. Trixie is crate trained and knows how to use the doggie door when supervised. She walks brilliantly on her leash and enjoys her rides in the car. She plays with her foster mates, can be both independent as well as give kisses while snuggling up to you on the couch. She can be a little mischievous as puppies can be and also greets strangers with a tail wag. Trixie is a low shedding longer coated breed that will require regular brushing as well as professional grooming every 6 to 8 weeks. Trixie's adoption fee is $ 400.00 This fee includes her Veterinarian Wellness checks while here at the rescue, her spay, all vaccinations including rabies and bordatella, de-worming, microchip with lifetime membership and professional groom.
