About Petunia

Now available for adoption!! Petunia is a spunky little girl and loves attention. She is not quite as timid as when she first came in to the rescue. She has been spayed and has had a dental done. Petunia is approximately 6 years old. She does well with other dogs, cats, and older children. She has also been heartworm tested, which was negative, and has been started on prevention. She is also up to date on her vaccines. We are asking $400 for her adoption fee. Vet reference will be required and possibly a home visit as well. If you would like to apply for her adoption please send us an email at [email protected] UPDATE: After spending some more time with this sweet girl we have discovered that she may be deaf. She does occasionally respond to sounds but not like she should. It is hard to determine if it is due to hearing loss or because she has been stuck in a kennel her whole life and is just used to lots of commotion. She has also started having issues with urinating in her kennel again. She has tested negative for an infection this may also be due to the face that she has always spent her time in a kennel. We do have her outside quite a bit so hopefully it will get better.
