The one parent of this dog is deployed not far from Ft Campbell, so you must reside not too far from the Clarksville, TN area or be one of our rescue partners. This sweet pyr is too much for the wife and her family, and he did get along with their other dog, except during feeding time. The changes in their family were making him show what appeared to be some behavior the wife was unfamiliar with, so she did not know how to address it and was worried about her baby. She did not want to take him to a shelter, nor could she handle or train this dog, so this is a surrender. He needs someone that can let him know his 'desired' job and inspire him as a pyr with lots of walks and training as having been indoors all his life he was not able to do just that. With a new baby, he has shown some food and other resource guarding, so the owners had labeled this dog aggressive. Given this, if he was taken to certain shelters he might not make it, as it is possible that a kennel would freak him out. If you do not have experience in this breed, please do not try to adopt just because 'he is pretty' or that you think he will herd your livestock. STATS: 2 years old, with same owners all his life, neutered, UTD shots. Undetermined with other dogs, cats or children, you must sign 'waiver'.
