ZOOBIE fka HULK, 3 years old, 70 lbs, South Jersey Looking for a calm, forever friend? Zoobie may just be your man! He's young, handsome and friendly. He enjoys walking and is great on leash. He will pace you and not pull, responds to verbal commands, and will work hard for just about any treat. He already knows sit, down, stay and leave it. He's smart as a whip, learns quickly and is very eager to please. Zoob is friendly toward other dogs. He is super house-trained and is also crate-trained. He keeps his crate tidy and doesn't chew up blankets or beds. He loves chew toys! Zoob is just an all-around sweet guy who likely didn't have the best life before rescue. The best is yet to come for this fella! After being tied to a pole and abandoned, and then ending up on the At Risk list at the city shelter, Zoobie is ready to give his heart and his loyalty again, this time to someone who won't betray him. In return, he will be your steadfast friend and most trusted sidekick. Hello, I'm ZOOBIE! I'm a pretty low-key kind of guy. I'm not into mushy snuggling or anything like that. And, playing ball isn't my thing. But, I definitely want to hang out with you. And, if it's not too much trouble, I'd like something to chew because, paws down, that is my favorite! Right now, I've got about 8 or 9 chew bones and toys and I try to give each of them my attention each day. I am crate-trained and house-trained, and I'm not one of those dogs who needs 45 minutes to find just the right place to pee or poop. I'm out and back in 5 minutes, which is quite nice. But, if you want a long stroll, I'm happy to accompany. I love the snow, but don't like the cold too much. If it's too cold, my front paws feel funny and I'll literally stand up on my hind legs to make it stop! I'm pretty cute that way. I am good with larger dogs, but I definitely want to chase cats and smaller dogs. I'm also big and goofy so might be best off with older kids. Please come meet me soon.
