About ELLIE

Hi, I'm ELEANOR but my friends call me ELLIE for short. I grew up in a wonderful loving home but tragedy took over when my beloved human fell off a roof leaving him paralyzed from the chest down. Since he only wanted the best for me and could no longer care for me, he wants to find another wonderful home where I'll be loved and cherished. I'm looking for a new wonderful forever home, just like the one I grew up in. I'm a 2.5 year-old, 45lb lab/husky mix and my name means 'bright and shining' and that's what I'll be in my forever family's life. I am a loving, happy, playful girl who likes to have fun. I am out of my chewing stage and I am pretty laid back much of the day, especially after some playtime or a good walk, jog or bike run if you prefer. I enjoy playing with furkids my size, older well behaved kids and I am good with cats too. I'm house broken, crate and leash trained and I have excellent house manners. I have many lab traits and tendencies but my pretty blue eyes scream Husky love. All the recent changes has been a bit overwhelming for me so I am a little shy and timid when I first meet you, but give me a little time and I open up and shine bright like a star.
