About Freckles

Perfection, thy name is Freckles! She's a 3 year old American English Coonhound mix with the most adorable...well...freckles you've ever seen. Freckles came to ACL from a local animal control where she was surrendered when her family found themselves unable to care for her. She's a gentle, easygoing, tolerant dog who knows some commands and loves to follow her nose for food. She is a hound dog after all! Freckles is good with other mellow dogs, but she can become irritated by really pushy canines. She'll make a great family dog for a home with kids of all ages. We even think she's a good option to try with kitties, too! Freckles enjoys long walks where she can chase down every smell followed by a nice long snugglefest. Come get her while the gettin's good!
