I'm an Independent Rescuer called #TheKaminsKrewRescues, so I'm not a nonprofit 501(c)(3) Rescue Group, and I rescue all out of the tremendous love I have for FURbabies. I also bottle feed and adopt out baby kittens whenever I can and have a Facebook Group called 'PURRecious Kittens Need Bottle Feeding' that I created after Hurricane Matthew in 2016. But, right now this is a little different situation, so I need to ask you a question: 'Are you ready to bring some totally PAWesome cuteness and PURRecious love into your home?' Deb Leigh (Named in honor of my friend and fellow rescuer, Deborah Leigh, who suddenly passed away on February 1, 2018.) She is a 3 year old 'young' momma cat who was pregnant and had given birth to 4 PURRecious kittens and was an 'owner surrendered pet' because her owners didn't want to take care of her and her babies and they never had her spayed! They dropped her off, without even looking back, to the HIGH KILL Gaston County Animal Shelter in Dallas, NC! It was like she was thrown away like trash . . . as if her life and her babies lives didn't matter! ALL LIVES MATTER! We rescued her and her 4 babies who were only 11 days old on 11/21/2017 from the Shelter just before Thanksgiving and on the very day they were going to be euthanized! They were transported to their new foster family so they could get the much-needed love and attention they SO deserved, as we all know they weren't getting much human contact, at all, living in the small, cramped cold cage they were in! They were being fostered by a fellow rescuer, who without hesitation, took them in from the HIGH KILL Gaston County Animal Shelter on 11/21/17, when they were only 11 days old. She was giving them all of the warmth of a very loving home filled with unconditional love, food, TLC and a playful environment they so desperately deserved. While in her care, (2) of her babies, Rowan and Theo, were adopted TOGETHER on Saturday, 1/20/2018, to their new FURever home! I just love it when siblings get adopted together because they'll never be alone and will always have each other for the rest of their PURRecious lives! But, unfortunately, her living arrangements suddenly changed in February and she had to move out of town, so now they're with my dear friend and fellow rescuer, Logan, who without any hesitation, took them in to help with fostering them until they're all adopted out. And we just got really lucky again and now her 2 other babies, Henry and Kiera, were adopted together on February 16, 2018, to their new FURever home! How PAWesome is that?!?! And now it's time for sweet Deb Leigh to find her new FURever home! PURRecious Deb Leigh - She's a beautiful slender, slinky black and a little white 'young' 3-year old cat who was robbed of her childhood because the previous owner didn't have her spayed. You can tell she loved her babies, but she's learning how to play and she loves to be loved on. She's got a spunky attitude if you don't feed her on time and she'll meow at you as if she's telling you: 'Hey, I'm hungry. Just because you wanted to sleep in doesn't mean I'm not hungry.' lol She's also, at times, laid back and wants to snuggle up on your lap. She's such a sweet young cat with a great personality and had been in a foster home socializing with many people, other kittens, cats and even dogs. She's been playing with a 5 month old King Charles puppy named Chloe and a 2 year old little girl who takes naps with her every day. She eats hard cat food and is litter box trained, so she will definitely make a great addition to any family. She was spayed on February 22, 2018, and is fully vetted and ready for adoption. As of March 25, 2018, a friend of mine with Crazy's Claws N' Paws Rescue Group in Goldsboro offered to take her to the PetSmart there in Goldsboro to see if they could get her adopted out and haven't had any luck yet. She's also microchipped now. So they've taken her out of there and will start taking her to adoption events along with me continuing to post her on Facebook and any other places I can to help find the most PURRfect home she so deserves. So, are you her PURRson?
