About Hog Island Boa

Adoption Fee: $60
Reptile/Amphibian
Age: Adult
Sex: Female

She is a beautiful Hog Island Boa. Her coloring goes from light grey and peach at her head to darker grey and orange at her tail. She is just over 5' long. I took her in as a rescue 3 years ago and she was fully mature at that time. She came from a bad home and has one nostril scarred shut, but she has been to the vet and has a clean bill of health (which I will get a copy of for her adopter). I had her fairly tamed but then life got in the way and she has become increasingly more aggressive over the past year to the point that I'm jumpy and nervous around her, which causes her to strike at me. This isn't fair to her and I'm needing to find her a good home with someone experienced with snakes. The fee can include: 55 gal tank, water bowl, 2 hiding spots, tie down straps, thermometer, lid with hinged openings at both ends, and ~9 month's worth of food. The only thing missing will be heating lamps. She's very active and I think in the right home she will flourish like she was with me originally. I work graveyard hours, so please text or email instead of calling. Thanks!
