About Persephone

Please read carefully Before emailing. *Persephone is a 2 year old EB x Boxer mix. She is adorable and short, weighing a healthy 45 pounds. EB's are often very overweight which can contribute to joint and breathing issues. Persephone has one blue eye! *Persephone has been in care with one of our rescue partners for nearly a Year! We just cannot understand why, as she is a gem of a dog. She has been in several different foster homes and done well in all. She is crate trained and house trained. Persephone loves to try to sit on your lap. She has a wonderful, silky coat and her neck flub is so much fun to pet. She really enjoys the attention of kind children and would be a great friend for a family. She plays well with other dogs and has been in play groups of up to 15 dogs. Persephone does not do well with cats. Persephone needs a home with a physically fenced yard or a dedicated leash walker. No 'invisible fences' or 'boundary training' for this young lady. *Each pup is spayed or neutered and current on their vet cares. *We do not hold or reserve dogs. We do not ship or fly. Prospective families must come to NORTHFIELD MN to meet. Aside from monthly adoption events, we do not meet in the Twin Cities* *Emails are answered in the order they are received.
