About George

George is about 4-5 years old and he is a Coconut Retriever (local mixed island dog) from St Maarten. Saint Maarten is a beautiful island, but life can be difficult for dogs especially now after the hurricanes. Fresh water is hard to find as well as food. George was found as a stray in Cole Bay and a nice person brought him to Team Goldendog Rescue. The volunteers there just loved George and they were able to find a foster home for George . Team Goldendog Rescue reached out to FHDR about George and we transported George to NJ to live in a nice foster home. George's foster family says��%BD'��%BD|..'We love George!. He is good with everyone he meets��%BD'��%BD|humans, kids and other dog. George loves lounging on the couch and hanging out with everyone. George enjoys going on walks and going to the beach. He is such a sweet dog!!' George is awesome!! And, with his sweet personality would bring happiness to any home! Please note, the breeds on the island are different than in the US. So we can't tell for sure what breed George is, but what we do know is he is 100% sweetness. Please note we do not adopt puppies/dogs to homes where they will be alone all day. The breed and age of this pet is listed as is our best guess. We have no background info on who the mom and dad are. We do not have a shelter facility you can visit.
