About Duncan

My name is Duncan! I'm still looking for a home, a nice family tried me out after their senior dog passed away, but their other dog is too sad and doesn't want me around. Do you? I'm a 1 1/2 year old male Border Collie/Lab mix looking for a furever home. I'm a smart, casual boy who loves spending time with my humans. I make friends easily with people and dogs, since I'm young and energetic I tend to jump on people when I'm excited so small kids should be extra careful....I also climb fences! Duncan has shown interest in cats with no cause for worries so far. Sweet Duncan has been diagnosed with dysplasia in a hip and elbow, so he's not able to continue service dog training. He will limp a bit if allowed too much action and play and no outward symptoms at the hip. Exercise should be low-stress, he'll be content with a fenced yard to play in and would love a family who will use mental enrichment games or teach low impact tricks. Duncan is house trained, knows some basic commands and he loves to learn! Duncan is neutered, chipped and vaccinated.
