About Sheila

Sheila - 1857478 - 3 years old - spayed - 13lbs. Sheila came to us at ACC in November as a surrender after her owner passed away. Sheila was terrified in the kennel environment and would hiss and swat at the kennel techs whenever they tried to handle her. She wouldn't move from her litter box and would sit in her urine and feces. She was taken to a foster home back in January with the hopes that she would relax and come out of her shell. Well, she has. She is doing great in her foster home and is now ready to go to rescue or, even better, a forever home of her own. She likes to get your attention with short burst of 'chirping/meowing' instead of the loud I want you to pet me meows. When you first walk into her room she starts right away with her quips and lets you know that she would like to have some 'treats' she only likes temptations and she is not particular in the flavor. She could care less about catnip, Toys with catnip, or catnip bubbles, believe us we tried it all even fresh organic catnip. She likes you to pet her head but not to smother her.... typical kitty cat. She's fine with other cats but does not care for the company of dogs. Please let me know if you can help find a home or rescue for Sheila as her time in foster care is coming to an end and she will not do well coming back to the shelter after all the progress she's made in her foster home.
